This case describes a 70-year-old male with hypertension and a known history of atrial fibrillation (AFib). The patient performed regular spot checks using FibriCheck, initially showing a stable regular rhythm.
Subsequently, the patient self-reported a fever, providing important contextual information. Around the same time, an asymptomatic AFib episode was detected, which persisted approximately four days. No further contextual reports were submitted during this period, and the rhythm spontaneously returned to normal without intervention.
This longitudinal data clearly illustrates how contextual information, such as self-reported fever, can help interpret rhythm changes and reveal trigger-related AFib dynamics.
