Rate control titration during AFib reduces symptom burden

This case highlights a 74-year-old male with a known history of atrial fibrillation (AFib). The patient presented with persistent AFib and symptoms associated with an elevated heart rate of approximately 110 bpm prior to the initiation of rate control therapy.

Following rate control titration, the patient’s average heart rate decreased to around 95 bpm, accompanied by a clear reduction in symptom burden. Serial FibriCheck measurements effectively visualized these heart rate trends, supporting clinical evaluation of therapeutic response.
